In this page you will find important and helpful details, tips and advice to help you prepare for your tattoo session. Reading and following each point is important so that you can sit through your appointment better, and also allow the artist to do their best work possible.

Information

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please reach out to your artist with as much time in advance as possible.

  • Your payment will always be taken at the end of your session for the amount agreed upon. We accept both cash/card payments and ApplePay (tap with phone). No cashapp, venmo, or any direct payments to artists.

  • Make sure to have a photo ID with you for the consent form which must be filled out each time you get tattooed with us. You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo.

  • We do allow guests, however, due to limited space we do ask that only 1-2 guests be in the station area at a time. We do have other artists and clients sharing spaces so we want to be courteous to all.

  • Unfortunately NO kids are allowed in our studio. If you are coming with a friend or group and have a child, someone will have to wait outside with the child while you get tattooed. 

  • Make sure to drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment. DO NOT get tattooed on an empty stomach. If at any point you feel dizzy or nauseous ask us for candy and soda which helps elevate blood sugar. 

  • We will not tattoo you if you appear or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Consuming alcohol or drugs before getting tattooed will increase bleeding and will heighten pain of the tattoo, which affects quality and healing of the tattoo. We recommend avoiding consuming alcohol at least 24 hours before your session for better/easier tattoo application.

  • Please do not apply any numbing cream before or at any point during your appointment. These products can make a person’s skin swell, turn red, and become very difficult for the needles to properly puncture the skin and apply the tattoo. The artist has the right to refuse service if numbing products have been applied.

  • Please avoid sun exposure/sunburns prior to your tattoo. We will not tattoo an area that has a sunburn.

  • You do not have to shave the area being tattooed, we can do this during prep. If you have a lot of hair in the area to be tattooed, please trim a day or two before the appointment that way we can just shave the stubble.

  • We recommend dressing comfortably but in something that keeps the area to be tattooed accessible to your artist. If possible, please avoid wearing bright colors (this is for photograph purposes after your tattoo). Black/white/gray/muted colors are recommended.

  • Make sure to shower and wear clean clothes before your appointment, if possible.
